Women only experience violence because of their gender. When violence happens at home or in close surroundings, it is particularly bad. It usually doesn&#8217;t just happen once. The violence is growing and getting stronger. The perpetrator wants to maintain power and control over the woman. He uses many methods to achieve this. Men are usually violent towards women.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><b>What is violence?<br \/><\/b>Violence takes various forms. In addition to physical and sexual violence, there is also psychological violence. This involves threats and humiliation. In the case of social violence, for example, contact with friends or family is forbidden. Or the woman is forbidden to work or have her own bank account. In this way, the man retains control over the money. There are many different types of violence. We have certainly not mentioned all forms of violence.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Most men blame their wives for the violence. But:<br \/>Violence is never right! We support women in violent situations and help them to free themselves from them. And to move confidently towards a future without intimate partner violence.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">If you experience violence, we will give you the support you need. We also work with interpreters at the advice centre. We understand you! You will receive information and help to change your situation. The Violence Protection Act allows you to make various applications to the court. This allows you to be protected from the perpetrator.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a199c76 elementor-widget__width-initial list-dots textlink-popup elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a199c76\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"distance-null\">You can request that &#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you can use the shared apartment alone for a while.<\/li>\n<li>the perpetrator is not allowed to come to your home, work or other places.<\/li>\n<li>the perpetrator must not come near you on the street.<\/li>\n<li>the offender must always keep a certain distance from you.<\/li>\n<li>the perpetrator is not allowed to call you or send you e-mails.<\/li>\n<li>the perpetrator is not allowed to pursue or harass you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0944fc8 elementor-widget__width-initial list-dots textlink-popup elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0944fc8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If the offender violates these resolutions, you can report him to the police.
